Ego

Sometimes unpleasant event happen unexpectedly. We may be overwhelmed with new tasks at hand and have the feeling of ‘when is this going to an end?’ Then for hours at work, you heart beat faster than usual, brain tighten to squeeze the juice out of it. You started to blame and complain, seem like children unwilling to complete their homework. You feel slightly better with people around agree with you of what others’ inefficiency that has added on the stress on you. You have forgotten to pay attention on yourself, or rather, using your negative force to push out to others. At the end of the day, your energy level has drained out so much by grumbling compare to one who just focuses in side and complete the task in silence.

Human has centuries history of having ‘ego’. The ego mind is perceived as being more superior than others, that is to make others look bad while being self is the good one, the victim, the innocence,… we have forgotten that we came from the same source and more importantly, we are ONE.

It is because of this ‘ego’, we intentionally separate ourselves with our identity. The worst still with crime, war and destruction arise. We spend so much time on chasing after externals rather than focusing on self. We have blinded by the temporary identities of our profession, income level, things that we own, club membership, …

Have you ever thought of WHO WE ARE besides all the nonpermanent identity? Can you tell me WHO ARE YOU deep down in side?

WHO ARE YOU?
